  In 2001, Metex produced in excess of 80 million pounds of heat treated product. The plant occupies 65,000 square feet within three buildings that are in close proximity of each other.

 Company History

  In 1983, Metex Heat Treating Ltd. was founded to serve the heat treating needs of the manufacturing industry in the greater Toronto area. Metex is now servicing customers as far as Montreal, Cleveland and Michigan.

  Surjit Bawa P.Eng
President and General Manager
Surjit is a Metallurgical Engineer and founded Metex in 1983. He has 28 years experience in heat treat processes and technology

Baljit Bawa, CMA
Vice President
Baljit has over 30 years experience in Management Accounting.

Sushil Suri, MSc (Metallurgy - University of Pennsylvania)
Plant Manager

Sushil is a Metallurgical Engineer and started with Metex in 1984. He has 18 years experience in heat treat processes and technology.
